is full-bodied, inky-black, with a generous tannic backbone.
The concentrated blackberry character of the grape melds with
and balances the tannins to produce a surprisingly elegant,
yet drinkable now dinner wine that will age gracefully for
years. Essential for serious lovers of "big reds".

Semillon. This wine is crisp and dry, exhibiting tropical
aromas and round flavors of ripe melon. Ten months in French
oak barrels contributed a delicate vanilla richness. Paul
Rued planted his one acre parcel with left-over Semillon cuttings
given to him by a neighboring farmer 40 years ago. Serve with
spicy Asian, poultry, seafood, or Eggs Benedict. Silver and
Bronze Medals; Best of Appellation; selected as 1 of Top 10
of Livermore wines!
2001
Barbera. Barbera is a grape variety widely grown in Italy's
Piedmont region. Our Barbera exhibits vibrant spice and rich
cherry/berry flavors. Higher in acid and lower in tannin than
most red wines, Barbera is surprisingly refreshing and goes
amazingly well with food. Terrific with pizza, tomato-based
pastas, and hearty dishes. Silver and Bronze medals.
2001
Zinfandel. Our Zin delivers big wild blackberry and
raspberry fruit flavors, along with that all-important dash
of black pepper. Full-bodied with smooth tannin; highly recommended
for BBQ, tomato-based or balsamic vinegar sauces, grilled
meats, or robust cheeses.

Italian dish. Just the right amount of zip! Very drinkable

Livermore Cabernet. What a smooth and elegant cab! A
blend of 85% Cab, 10% Merlot, and 5% Malbec, it delivers
a big berry flavor with smooth tannins and a long finish.
Aged for 24 months in French and American oak, it's great
with beef, lamb, duck or venison. Silver and Bronze medals;
in the top 9 of Livermore wines in SF Chronicle tasting!

Livermore Merlot. This is no wimpy Merlot!!! It's got
a very dark color and deep flavors of plum and black cherry
that just don't quit. A serious dinner wine that tastes
great now, or will soften and mature for years to come.
